New Orleans. 2025. England’s loudest band, Spinal Tap, is back: older, slower, but somehow still louder. After fifteen years of silence (and several lawsuits), David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) reunite for one last concert… that no one is quite sure they asked for.
As documentary filmmaker Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner) returns to capture the chaos, the band must find a new drummer, remember their old songs, and survive each other long enough to make it to the stage. With a little help from rock legends Paul McCartney and Elton John - and a lot of misplaced confidence - Spinal Tap sets out to prove that you can’t keep a good band down, even when the amps have started to smoke.
